Something has gone missing in the village. Each suspect has one different place and item. Use the true clues to match them up in your notebook, then use the witness statement to choose the culprit, place and item. A wrong accusation costs a strike. Three strikes close the case.
There are three suspects from Monday to Wednesday, four from Thursday to Saturday and five on Sunday, when each person has a different time too. Every case has exactly one complete solution and can be solved without guessing. A new case arrives at midnight UK time.
A tick means a match and a cross rules it out. Tap again to clear. Automatic crosses are optional, and clues can be struck through as a reminder.
A hint points to a clue that helps force a notebook step, or flags a mistaken mark. Each hint costs 50 points. There are 12 per case.
