Prompter is a daily finish-the-quote game. A famous line from a film, TV show, book or play has dried up halfway: some of its words, usually the ending, have gone blank. You can see the rest of the line, who says it and where it comes from.
Type the missing letters and press Enter. Each letter is marked: right letter in the right place, in the missing words but somewhere else, or not in them at all. You have six tries to get the whole phrase.
The missing part is picked to be the less obvious bit of the line, so knowing the famous catchphrase is only half the battle.
1,000 points on the first try, 850 on the second, then 700, 550, 400 and 250. Not finding it scores 0.
Yes. Right-place letters are orange with an underline bar, elsewhere letters are blue with a dot, and every tile is labelled for screen readers.
